Altiva Software Announces Reseller Agreement with E3Synergy
August 23, 2007 (Houston, TX) — Altiva Software is pleased to announce a reseller partner agreement with E3Synergy, a Baltimore-based service and technology provider to architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) firms, serving the mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.
E3Synergy is now selling CADconform, Altiva's software add-on that works seamlessly between AutoCAD® and MicroStation® to promote and enforce 100% conformance to CAD standards. MicroStation is one of the most widely used drafting software packages from Bentley Systems, Inc. E3Synergy provides professional training and consulting services for Bentley software, and is positioned to expand its consulting services and value to its clients based on this new technology and relationship.
Digital CAD data, which is intellectual property stored in engineering and design drawings, is a valuable asset that can serve a company throughout the entire lifecycle of a facility, from engineering and design, throughout operations, maintenance and decommissioning. But to achieve the maximum value, the data must conform to CAD standards. During design, engineering and construction, nonstandard CAD data can lead to costly errors and unpaid rework.
"This reseller partnership for CADconform gives E3Synergy another important tool in support of our mission to help AEC firms compress delivery schedules and improve workflows," remarked E3Synergy President Mark Richards. "Standardized CAD data adds real value to AEC projects, but, in the past, standards conformance has been a manual, labor-intensive, error-prone process. Now, with the advanced computing technology of CADconform, standards compliance is a seamless part of the drafting process, resulting in improved data accuracy and increased efficiency."
"This agreement with E3Synergy gives Altiva Software a strong partner in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions to help AEC firms realize the benefits of CADconform," said Altiva Software CEO Philip Hurlston. "We are delighted to have another prestigious company join us in a reseller agreement."
