Altiva Software Welcomes New CTO Matt Novi
October 16, 2006 (Houston, TX) – Altiva Software welcomes Matt Novi to its staff as Chief Technology Officer. Matt is responsible for the long-term planning and development of CADconform®, Altiva's software product that promotes and enforces 100% conformance to CAD standards for both MicroStation® and AutoCAD®. He also manages day-to-day development operations.
"Matt's background in software engineering and architecture and his experience in product development make him an excellent candidate to create the vision for CADconform going forward," said Altiva Software CEO Philip Hurlston. "In addition, his hands-on development and management experience will help to further optimize our development operations."
Prior to joining Altiva, Matt worked in senior and lead developer positions for Schlumberger, Ameritrade and Ericsson. He has won several awards including inventor, patent and managerial awards at Ericsson and awards for excellence at Schlumberger.
Matt replaces outgoing CTO Piers Porter who will be completing his one-year U.S. assignment and returning to his native Australia where he will continue to work on CADconform development and support.
