Kansas Department of Transportation Extends Implementation of CADconform
April 14, 2006 (Houston, TX)—Altiva Software announces the additional sale of 55 CADconform licenses to the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) Bridge Design and Road Design divisions. These two divisions join the KDOT Cartography/GIS division, which has been using CADconform to manage CAD standards since 2002.
The Bridge and Road divisions had previously purchased a CADconform competitor, but the users did not like the interface and its standards checking proved inadequate. The Bridge and Road divisions agreed to a demonstration of CADconform which led to a short in-house trial and the purchase of CADconform.
