Altiva Software to Exhibit at Mid-Continent MicroStation Community Conference
August 11, 2006 (Houston, TX)—Altiva Software will be exhibiting and presenting at the Mid-Continent MicroStation Community users conference which will be held at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland, Kansas on August 16-17.
The conference is an opportunity for users of MicroStation to come together for networking and learning. MicroStation from Bentley Systems, Inc. is one of the most widely-used computer aided drafting tools on the market. The event features two days of sessions and workshops presented by professionals from around the region and the country, including end-users and other industry experts sharing their experience and knowledge with MicroStation, related products, and related general issues, such as plotting.
Altiva will be demonstrating CADconform, its software add-on that works seamlessly between MicroStation® and AutoCAD® to promote and enforce 100% conformance to CAD standards. In addition, Altiva Software Business Development Manager Marie Franklyn will be presenting a session on how using CADconform can boost the workflow of both internal drafting groups and for use with external drafting organizations, such as outsourcing and consulting companies.
A new session was recently added to the conference agenda for CADScript, a software add-on that brings publication-quality graphics into the CAD environment. Bentley Systems recently purchased CADScript from Corporate Montage, the software company from which Altiva Software was spun off.
