Altiva Software Releases Version 6.04.20
of CADconform for MicroStation
March 05, 2008 (Houston, TX)—Altiva Software announced the release of the latest version of CADconform for MicroStation, its software product that promotes and enforces 100% conformance to CAD standards. CADconform® is an add-on to MicroStation®, one of the most widely used 2D drafting software packages. Version V6.04.20 is now supported on PowerDraft 2004 and PowerDraft XM in addition to MicroStation.
MicroStation PowerDraft is a professional-level application used for production 2D/3D drafting and detailing. PowerDraft provides an intuitive interface for creating, editing, and manipulating drawings and models in DGN or DWG format and is completely integrated with all Bentley solutions. Because PowerDraft and MicroStation are based on the same code base, they share many of the same features and functions, including MicroStation's full suite of referencing, dimensioning, text, and drawing tools.
Users of PowerDraft can now implement CADconform to ensure their CAD standards conform 100%. “We continue our commitment to the expansion of CADconform’s capabilities,” says Piers Porter of Altiva Software development headquarters in Australia, “I am confident that PowerDraft users will be happy with the result.”
