Altiva Software to Exhibit at International HEEP Conference

September 7, 2009 (Houston, TX) — Altiva Software will once again participate in the annual Highway Engineering Exchange Program (HEEP) International Conference, which will be held September 27 - October 1, 2009 San Antonio, Texas Westin Riverwalk Hotel. Altiva Software will be demonstrating CADconform, its flagship software product that promotes and enforces 100% conformance to CAD standards.

Altiva will give a presentation as part of the conference program. The program presentation by Business Development Manager Marie Franklyn will focus on how LADOTD has successfully applied Altiva Software's new, advanced software technology, ControlCAD, to migrate from paper to digital submissions while streamlining every phase of their workflow including: a) Defining projects specs, b) Distributing the CAD environment, c) Enforcing CAD standards, d) Indexing drawings for Document Management, and e) Compiling the final digital submission.

"HEEP members, which are typically departments of transportation and related engineering firms, were among the first organizations to capitalize on the benefits of ControlCAD and CADconform," explains Altiva Software CEO Harry Hvistendahl. "DOTs and other government agencies have long realized the benefits of standards, and they quickly realized that CADconform provides an easy-to-use, cost-effective solution for promoting and enforcing CAD standards, which contributes to the overall efficiency and interoperability of their projects."

Officially established in 1959, the Highway Engineering Exchange Program (HEEP) is an international organization which promotes the exchange of information relating to highway and bridge engineering, with particular focus on use of computers and information technology in the engineering process.
