Altiva Software Exhibits at 2009 HEEP Area 2 Conference in Louisiana

May 27, 2009 (Houston, TX) — Altiva Software will once again participate in the HEEP Area 2 Conference which this year will being held at Embassy Suites Baton Rouge, June 7-10.

Hosted by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD), Area 2 HEEP promotes the exchange of information relating to the uses of information technology in Highway and Bridge Engineering, as well as other transportation related fields. This regional annual meeting is an excellent opportunity to present these developments, experiences, and best practices to colleagues from all over the region and to discuss current needs and emerging challenges in the transportation engineering technology fields.

Altiva will give a presentation as part of the conference program and will also have a booth in the Assembly Hall. The program presentation by Product Support Manager Matthew Tolmie will focus on the latest technologies that DOT's, such as Louisiana DOTD, are using to enable every drafter to perform their own quality control, and to automate the enforcement of CAD standards.

CADconform is a win-win for both LA DOTD and their consultants. LA DOTD receives the level of CAD data quality needed to achieve its Plans Management initiative, and the consultants are provided a way to reduce costs while easily meeting their client's high data standards.

And because the consultants will be utilizing the full version of CADconform, they will be able to use the same technology to improve the quality and efficiency of their products and services for all of their other clients.
