Altiva to Exhibit at 2007 Louisiana Transportation & Engineering Conference
January 15, 2007 (Houston, TX) — Altiva Software will be exhibiting at the 2007 Louisiana Transportation Engineering Conference (LTEC) which will be held at the Baton Rouge River Center, February 11 - 14.
Hosted by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD) and the Louisiana Transportation Research Center (LTRC), the conference provides a forum for interchange among LA DOTD personnel and the public and private sector. It also allows the LA DOTD Secretary and other LA DOTD administrative officials an opportunity to relate their vision, direction, and expectations.
Altiva will be demonstrating CADconform®, its flagship software product that promotes and enforces 100% conformance to CAD standards. In addition, Hollis Ward of LA DOTD will be presenting CADconform as part of his Tuesday morning conference session. Hollis will explain CADconform's role as a key enabling technology to achieve LA DOTD's new, very progressive Plans Management initiative, which includes a unique digital submission procedure.
Starting in 2007, CADconform will be a required tool for all consultants doing work for LA DOTD to assure CAD data quality as part of their normal workflow.
