Exporting MicroStation Cell Descriptions to AutoCAD Block Descriptions
The two utilities in this package are designed to be used when moving cells/blocks from MicroStation to AutoCAD. Often, users will find that the descriptions will be missing from the blocks in AutoCAD after they move them from MicroStation. These two utilities should facilitate the process of exporting MicroStation cell descriptions and importing them into AutoCAD block libraries.

Altiva Graphical Block Report
This application is used to iterate through your CADconform database and place every block feature (except block libraries) in the open drawing, in a grid-like pattern. Directly under the blocks will be placed two Mtext objects describing the name of the feature and the table that contains it. It is recommended (but not required) that a blank drawing be used.

Rename Matched Layers
This utility reads a list of layers from a text file and attempts to match those layers with the layers in a drawing. If a matching layer is found, the suffix "-old" is attached to it. For example: A-Anno-Text will become A-Anno-Text-old. This facilitates the process of conforming your drawings according to a new standard.
